Talking Text
Telstra's Talking Text uses text-to-speech technology to deliver SMS messages from mobiles to Telstra fixed phones. It is exclusively available to Telstra customers, and was launched on 14 March.
To send a message, customers simply type the message text into a mobile phone, then key in the full ten-digit fixed phone number and press 'Send'. No special handsets are required to receive the message, as the text is converted into speech and the phone will ring as normal. The message will be read out to the person who answers the phone.

International Roaming on MessageBank & Memo Now Available!
MessageBank Roaming and Memo Roaming enable Telstra customers who travel overseas to use either MessageBank or Memo in a similar manner to the way they are used in Australia without manually diverting their handset.
Can be used in most countries where Telstra has a Roaming agreement and SMS sending and receiving capability exists.
Customers can receive calls whilst traveling overseas or have calls divert to MessageBank or Memo as they do in Australia.
Customers can easily retrieve MessageBank messages in a similar way to message retrieval in Australia.
